Previously when the Victorian government updates the list of locations for mobile phone seatbelt camera trailers, I've provided the information via my YouTube channel. I'll now be providing the information as a news item. February 2026 - Mobile phone seatbelt camera location changes.
This month's changes show no new camera locations, with
four camera locations removed.
Last month there were 339 locations and this month there are now 335
locations. Usually after the government adds a location to the list, that month or the next, you'll often see a mobile phone seatbelt camera trailer appearing in one or more of those locations. When locations are remove, those locations may still appear for some time. As I identify the locations more precisely, as usual, they will be added to the mobile phone seatbelt camera map for Victoria. Remember, these are locations where the trailer camera can appear, not fixed locations where they are. Only locations that I can suspect or confirm are added to the map. Often the government will add locations and a may never or rarely use that location again. Often a few locations get used quite frequently. - Kelvin |
