Speed Camera Locations now covers New Zealand cameras. With many Australians visiting new Zealand, and with the site hopefully able to be useful to New Zealanders, I decided to document the camera locations in New Zealand. New Zealand has fixed red light cameras, fixed speed cameras (also known as spot cameras), mobile speed cameras using 34 SUVs and 5 speed camera trailers (increasing to 10 during 2026), and there's one live average speed camera route (increasing to 17 during 2026). There's a lot of cameras to catch out unsuspecting drivers. The camera locations have been integrated into the Speed and Camera Alerts web app, including the average speed camera which is now active and fines being issued from December 2025. - Kelvin |
